Kanwaljeet (Kamal) is an experienced and highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse with over seven years in the mental health sector. She specialises in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. As the Director and CEO of Care to Heal, Kamal leads a team dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centred mental health services. Her expertise covers both youth and adult mental health, including comprehensive assessments, personalised care planning, and therapeutic support. Kamal holds a Master of Nursing (Mental Health) and has further qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Psychosis and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC). With her wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience, she brings a strong leadership approach to her role.
